1. Introduction

Calendar Software Pty Ltd ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose your information when you use our AI calendar application ("the App").

By using the App, you agree to this policy.

2. Data Accessed

We access and process the following types of data:

a. Account Information

Name, email address, and authentication details.

b. Calendar and Event Data

Event titles, attendees, times, notes, and other details needed to provide AI-powered scheduling and productivity features.

c. Usage and Device Information

Device type, browser, operating system, IP address, and in-app activity.

d. Communication Data

Information you provide when contacting us for support or feedback.

When you connect a third-party service (e.g., Google Calendar), we access only the data you explicitly authorize through that service's OAuth consent screen.

3. Data Usage

We use the data collected to:

  • Detect, prevent, and address technical or security issues;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use Google Calendar data or any user data for advertising, and we do not use your personal calendar content to train AI models in a way that identifies you.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information.

We may share data only with:

  • Service Providers: Trusted vendors who help operate the App (e.g., secure hosting, authentication, analytics);
  • Connected Integrations: Other services you explicitly connect (e.g., Google Calendar);
  • Legal Authorities: When required by law or to protect our rights.

All third parties are bound by strict confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

5. Data Storage & Protection

We store all user data securely using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.

Access to data is restricted to authorised personnel who require it to operate or improve the service.

We regularly review and update our security measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

No system is perfectly secure, but we continuously monitor for vulnerabilities and apply best practices.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services or comply with legal obligations.

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting privacy@calendar.software.

Upon deletion, your personal and calendar data will be permanently removed from our systems within a reasonable timeframe unless retention is required by law.

7. Google Calendar API Compliance

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
